Fully Licensed & Insured ISA Certified Arborists Storm Crews On Call

When a Tree Comes Down, Call Us First

Nor'easters, summer thunderstorms, hurricane-season blows off the Atlantic: the Jersey Shore gets all of it, and the trees take the hit. When one ends up on your roof, your driveway, or your neighbor's fence, you need it made safe fast, by a crew that knows what it's doing. Emergency calls go to the front of our schedule across Monmouth and Ocean County.

Safeguard your property with reliable emergency tree service. Unexpected situations are exactly why we're committed to swift, efficient solutions when you need them most. Our expert team is ready to handle any emergency, ensuring your landscape is safe and secure.

First, Stay Safe

  • Stay away from downed power lines, always. Assume every wire is live and call JCP&L and 911 before anyone goes near the tree.
  • Don't walk under hung-up limbs. A cracked branch resting in the canopy can drop without warning. That's why crews call them widow-makers.
  • Skip the chainsaw heroics. Storm-damaged wood is loaded with tension and can spring or roll when cut. This is the most dangerous work in tree care. Let the crew with the rigging and the insurance handle it.
  • Take photos for your records once it's safe to do so from a distance.

What We Handle in an Emergency

  • Trees down on houses, garages, sheds, cars, and fences
  • Hanging and cracked limbs over roofs, driveways, and walkways
  • Storm leaners with lifted roots that could fail in the next wind
  • Blocked driveways and access roads that need opening fast
  • Full storm cleanup: debris, brush, and the stump once the crisis is over

Filing an insurance claim? We provide detailed invoices and can photograph the damage as we work, the documentation most carriers ask for.

The best emergency is the one that never happens: our trimming crews remove the deadwood and weak limbs storms love to find, before storm season does it for you.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A tree fell on my house. What do I do right now?
Get everyone out of the affected rooms and away from the tree, and if any wires are involved call 911 and JCP&L first. Then call or text us at 732-372-3596. Emergency calls go to the front of the line, and we'll tell you honestly how fast we can be there.
How fast can you get here?
It depends on where you are and what the storm did to the whole area, so we won't invent a number. What we can promise: emergency calls jump the schedule, you'll get a real answer on timing when you call, and we serve Monmouth and Ocean County only, so we're never coming from far.
Will my homeowner's insurance cover emergency tree removal?
Often yes, when the tree damaged a covered structure. Every policy is different, so check with your carrier. We provide the detailed invoice and can photograph the damage as we work, which is the documentation most carriers ask for.
My neighbor's tree fell onto my property. Whose problem is it?
Generally, the damage is handled by the insurance of the property it landed on, regardless of whose side the trunk grew on. Your carrier can confirm how your policy handles it. Either way, we can make the scene safe first and sort the paperwork after.
The tree didn't fall but it's leaning badly after the storm. Is that an emergency?
Treat it like one. A fresh lean with lifted roots or cracked soil means the root plate is failing, and the next gust can finish it. Keep people and cars out from under it and call us for a same-day look.

The wind took down a 25 ft Pine tree in my back yard. I called Joe and left a message. Joe returned my call, provided me a date and time. This is worth mentioning as no one returns a call for service. Joe arrived early on the agreed day. Joe removed all brush, all logs and used a blower to clean up the property. The job was immaculate, Joe even broom swept the curb.

From my initial inquiry, to the estimate appointment, to the arrival to start work, Tree Ya Later was on top of it! They replied within 24 hours. Melissa was friendly, helpful and professional. Dwayne came out to give me an estimate the next day. We agreed on a competitive price. The crew arrived a few minutes before 8, ready to go. They cleaned up really great!

Tree Ya Later did an awesome job taking out two willows for me. Their communication was great! They came out right away for a quote and gave me a very fair price. The men were very thorough and cleaned up great! They took a fence out to get in the back and put the fence back better than it was!
